Mykita is a German eyewear brand founded in 2003 by Moritz Krueger, Philipp Haffmans, Daniel Haffmans and Harald Gottschling. The name Mykita is derived an abbreviation for kindergarten in Berlin and the first company headquarter place. The concept of the brand is a constant search for innovations and the finest materials combined with contemporary design. Mykita is a winner of numerous awards in the field of industrial design. Every new collection offers unique items based on patented technologies and materials: highly flexible material Mylon, arch without hinges and weldments, bezel in Scandinavian stainless steel or polyamide printed on a 3D printer, selective laser firing frames with three-dimensional structures etc. Mykita is well-known of its avant-garde collaborations: with Romain Kremer, Alexandre Herchcovitch, Herr von Eden, Rad Hourani and others.
